You are wrong if you believe that the task of the management is just to tell people what to do and this will lead to the change. Engaging all employees, giving them new powers and the responsibility connected to them is a difficult and complex process. The change is a marathon, not a sprint.
Changes in the organization bring a lot of pressure. People have to know, be able to and want to accept the change. The ability to communicate is the basis. Why, how and what will happen. I help people understand their role, understand the changes and adapt to them. I eliminate the risk of failure caused by unwillingness to join in, inflexibility and lack of mutual communication. I believe in performance and morals. But I always keep in mind that the company culture is your immune system.
The goals of transformation are cardinal changes in the working of the organization which should bring higher value for the customer and a competitive advantage. The internal processes must be tailored to the new strategy, specific goals, people´s preparedness and their skills for the transformation, to be truly efficient.
I focus on higher efficiency of processes and on improving performance. I work with facts and data, I pinpoint the obstacles and where it is necessary I suggest new processes and metrics based on the data. I monitor the conditions of functioning of all the processes as a flow of consecutive activities. I put great emphasis on tools serving people, not the other way around. So that the new procedures made sense to people and everybody could take part in them without any extensive training.
